John Gabler

**PLEASE NOTE DATES FOR VISITING AND FUNERAL**

John Gabler, 88, of Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly of Woodland Park, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2017 with his loving family beside him.
Born in Gyertyankut, Hungary, Mr. Gabler immigrated to the United States in 1951, had resided in Woodland Park since 1962, and more recently had been living in Boynton Beach, FL. Prior to retiring; he had been employed as a Foreman with Masonry Inc. in Totowa and LaTrecchia Construction in Urban Farms. He was a Life Member (50yrs.) of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers - Local #44 in Ridgewood. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton for more than fifty years.
Mr. Gabler was predeceased by his beloved wife of over sixty years, Theresa Gabler (nee Schmidt), in 2014, and his parents Alois and Ida Gabler. He is survived by his two devoted children: Raymond Gabler and his wife, Martine, of Manasquan and Cynthia Funsch and her husband, Keith, of Boynton Beach, FL; his loving sister, Maria Kawka and dear niece Heidi Kawka, both of Germany; and four cherished grandchildren: Jacqueline, Michael, Jameson and Candace.
Visiting Friday May 12th from 4-8 pm at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be Saturday May 13th 9:15 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair.
