John M. Mulick

John M. Mulick, 96, of Passaic, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018. Born in Passaic, Mr. Mulick was a lifelong resident. He was a proud World War II veteran of the United States Army Air Corps having served in the China-India-Burma Theatre of Operations. Mr. Mulick served with the Passaic Fire Department for 30 years, retiring as Captain. He was a member of the Wolverines of Passaic and was an avid fisherman, gardener and devoted family man. He enjoyed travelling and has seen much of the United States and Canada. Mr. Mulick was a faithful and devoted parishioner of Ss. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Passaic, where he and his late wife of 70 years, Olga (nee Andrusko), were married. Olga passed away earlier this year on February 27, 2018.
Besides his beloved wife, Mr. Mulick was predeceased by his three brothers, Michael, Andrew and Nicholas Mulick; and two sisters, Marie Lewkiewicz and Anne Sieper.
Survivors include: three children, Craig Mulick and his wife Lorraine, Linda Surgent and her husband Gregory and Robert Mulick and his wife Catherine; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Andrew and Catherine Mulick and Nicholas and Mark Surgent and his fiancé, Kelly Loebs. The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to their parents' caregiver, Zofia Sierota for her love and compassion over the last two years.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Parastas Tuesday 2:30 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:00 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am service at Ss. Peter & Paul R.O. Cathedral, 200 Third St., Passaic. Interment to follow at Ss.
