John Clark Seymour

John Clark Seymour, 78, of Clifton passed away peacefully on May 28, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Born and raised in Nutley, Mr. Seymour lived in Clifton for most of his adult life having moved there upon discharge from serving in the United States Air Force. Prior to retiring twenty-five years ago, he had been employed as a Firefighter with the Clifton Fire Department for twenty-five years and was a member of the Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association. He was a kind man, one who always looked to see the good in others and give everyone a fair chance.
Mr. Seymour was predeceased by his brother, Frederick Seymour and by his sister, Harriett Milam.
He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-two years, Rita (nee Brunetti) Seymour; his two devoted daughters: Andrea Nucci and her husband, Angelo, of Wayne and Danielle Seymour and her husband, Fred Kerfonta, also of Wayne; and three cherished grandchildren: Nicholas and Marc Nucci and Juliana Kerfonta.
Visiting will be Thursday from 4-8 pm at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Friday 10:30 am at the funeral home with interment to follow at Bloomfield Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org), 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 would be preferred and appreciated.
