Joseph J. Hopper

Joseph J. Hopper, Jr., 58, of Secaucus passed away peacefully on August 2, 2017 surrounded by his family.
Born in Paterson, Mr. Hopper was raised in Clifton and had lived in Secaucus for thirty years. He was employed as a Pipefitter with Pipefitters Local 274, Parsippany for over thirty-five years and was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton.
Mr. Hopper was predeceased by his parents: Joseph J. Hopper (2013) and Cecelia M. (nee Duffy) Hopper (2015).
His is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen (nee Zengel), of Secaucus; his three devoted children: Colleen Orlando and her husband, Joseph, Ryan Hopper and Alyssa Reggio and her husband, Matthew, all of Secaucus; dear sister, Peggy Borgese and her husband, John, of Cedar Grove; and two cherished grandchildren: Zander and Jacob Orlando.
Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 pm at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 am Saturday at the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
