JOSEPH S. KAPEL, 49, of POMPTON LAKES died Sunday, May 20, 2018.
Born in Newark, NJ, Mr. Kapel resided in the Lincoln Park- Wayne area for many years before moving to Pompton Lakes five years ago. He was an ASE Certified Automotive Mechanic for Wayne Valero of Wayne, NJ.
He was predeceased by his father, the late Stanley Kapel, in 1984.
Survivors include: his wife, Atije Odza- Kapel; his three children, Aiden, Hannah and Ryan Kapel; his mother Ludmila (nee Kwasniewska) Whitney of Lincoln Park and his three sisters, Elizabeth Kapel of Lincoln Park, Yolanda Palmeri of Branchburg and Sophia Praskala of North Carolina.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at 11:30 am Friday, June 1, 2018 at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church, 155 West Parkway, Pompton Plains, NJ.
