Jozsef Horvath, 94, of Clifton passed away peacefully on March 27, 2018.
Born in Viszik, Hungary, Mr. Horvath came to the United States in 1956, settling in Clifton and living in the Clifton area for most of his life. Before his retirement he was a mechanic with the former Crane GMC, Little Falls, NJ and was a parishioner of St. Stephen Magyar RC Church in Passaic.
Mr. Horvath was predeceased by his beloved wife, the former Terez Arva on March 17, 2018; by two brothers, Paul Horvath and Lazlo Horvath; and by a sister, Irene Strenacka.
He is survived by his two devoted daughters: Erika Cahayla and her husband, Joseph, of Clifton and Susan Johnson and her husband, Lee, of North Topsail Beach, NC; three loving grandchildren: Kimberly Cupo and her husband, Jeff, Keith Cahayla and Nicole Johnson; and two cherished great-grandchildren: Jack and Kara Cupo.
Arrangements are by Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Cremation was private. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions to St. Stephen Magyar RC Church 223 Third Street, Passaic, NJ 07055 would be appreciated.
