Judith A. Kopchak

Judith A. Kopchak, 65, of Wallington passed away peacefully on February 23, 2018.
Born in Paterson, Ms. Kopchak resided in Wallington all of her life. She was employed as a Corporate Communications Manager with Bank of America/Merrill Lynch in New York City for forty-five years. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary RC Church in Passaic and was a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokols and Jednota, the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. Judy was a fairy godmother to many friends and family. She had a heart of gold and was very generous to all who touched her life. She liked crafts, knitting and crocheting and enjoyed sewing Halloween costumes for her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed going to concerts, especially Bruce Springsteen, and going to NY Giants football games, travelling and spending time with family and friends. She will be missed.
Ms. Kopchak was predeceased by her father, John P. Kopchak, Sr. in 1998; by her sister, Gail Bilicska; her brother-in-law Charles Bilicska; and by a niece, Cheryl Bilicska.
She is survived by her mother, Florence (nee Tencza) Kopchak, of Wallington; her brother, John Kopchak and his wife, Cheryl, of Park Ridge; her nieces and nephews: Michael Bilicska, Suzanne Bilicska, Lauren DeSopo and her husband, Rob, Kayla Kopchak and Tyler Kopchak; and her two great-nephews, Matthew and Nicholas DeSopo.
Visiting will be Monday from 4-8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be Tuesday 9:15 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Mary RC Church, cor. Market and Monroe Streets, Passaic. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to either the Wallington Emergency Squad, 178 Maple Avenue, Wallington, NJ 07057 or to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org), 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 would be appreciated.
