Leo M. Turba

Leo M. Turba, 85, of Clifton passed away peacefully on March 13, 2018.
Born and raised in Garfield, Mr. Turba lived in Clifton for many years before moving to New Port Richey, FL in 1980, living there until he returned to Clifton in 2006. Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a Machinist for Getty Machine and Mold in Clifton. While living in Florida, he had been employed with North Meadow Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery in New Port Richey. Mr. Turba was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 78 in New Port Richey, VFW Post 10167 in Holiday, FL, Knights of Columbus Council #6476, also in Holiday, FL and American Legion Post 347 in Clifton. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church in Clifton.
Mr. Turba was predeceased by his beloved wife, Connie (nee Lupi) and by his sister, Marie O'Neill.
He is survived by his brother, Walter Turba and his wife, Gloria, of Clifton; three nephews: Walter Turba, Jr. and his wife, Joan, Glenn Turba and his wife, Diana and Larry O'Neill and his wife, Aimee; and his grand-niece and grandnephews: Brianna Turba, John Turba, Gary Turba, Larry O'Neill, Shane O'Neill and P.J. O'Neill.
Visiting will be Friday 4-8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Saturday 8:45 am from the funeral home and 9:30 am am at Sacred Heart RC Church, cor. Clifton and Randolph Avenues, Clifton. Entombment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org), 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 would be appreciated.
