Lorraine M. Trippodi

Lorraine M. Trippodi 72 of Stroudsburg, Pa. died on Friday June 15, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Phillip Trippodi. Born in Passaic, New Jersey she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Nikischer) Hiel.

Lorraine was a resident of the Stroudsburg area for the past 11 years and prior to that she was a lifelong resident of the Clifton, N.J. area. Lorraine worked as a secretary in the athletic department in the Clifton New Jersey school district for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville, Pa.

In addition to her husband Phillip she is survived by a daughter Tracey Silvestri and her husband Michael of Bangor, Pa. and 3 grandchildren: Giavanna Marie, Alexandria Grace and Annabella Rose and a niece and 6 nephews, and a sister in law Joann Chern of Clark, N.J.. Lorraine was preceded in death by a brother Adam Hiel.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at 11:00am from Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Cherry Lane Rd. Tannersville, Pa. with Fr. Richard E. Czachor as celebrant. Entombment will be in the Mountainview Mausoleum at Prospect Cemetery. E. Stroudsburg, Pa. There will be a viewing on Wednesday June 20, 2018 from 10:00am until the time of the Mass at the church.

There will also be an addition viewing on Tuesday June 19, 2018 from 1-3pm and 5-7pm at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home 1313 Van Houten Ave. Clifton, N.J. 07013.
