Margaret F. Davey

Margaret "Margie" Davey, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2017. She was born in Newark, NJ to the late Noah and Margaret Blakeney (nee Mullin).
Her early life was spent in the New Brunswick area. After some time in Rochester, NY, she returned to Newark, NJ. She lived as a homemaker in Belleville over 30 years and in Morristown for more than 30 yrs. In 2016 she moved to Delaware to spend the last year of her life with her daughter and Janis' companion James Wilson. Together the three of them shared many happy days and made memories that will last forever.
She was employed by Dorothy Gray Cosmetics, a division of Lehn and Fink in Bloomfield, NJ in the export department until her marriage to the late Leslie F. Davey in 1946. They traveled a great deal. Every year they took several trips to Europe and cruises. After her husbands' tragic death in a Belgium accident in 1985, she traveled with family and friends. She visited four continents and regretted not seeing the Far East and Australia. Every trip was her favorite.
She leaves her beloved daughter, Janis Beldowicz and close friend and adopted family member James Wilson; grandson, Jeffrey Bauer and his wife Ariana and great granddaughters Blake and Brooke of Denville, NJ; sister, Norma B. Cook of Morristown, NJ; niece, Bonnie Lundy; nephew, Robert E. Cook; and the family of her friend William J. Carberry, Jack and Margie and their children Katie Carberry and Michael Carberry.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 10 am to 11 am at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton followed by a service at 11:00 am at the funeral home. The interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Sisters of Mercy, 1645 U.S. Highway 22 West, Watchung, NJ 07069 would be appreciated.
