Margaret Schweighardt

Margaret (nee Soos) Schweighardt, 87, of Holmdel, formerly of Clifton, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018. Born and raised in Passaic, Mrs. Schweighardt moved to Clifton in 1955 where she resided for many years. More recently, she has been living in Holmdel. Prior to retiring in 1998, she was employed in the cafeteria of Clifton High School. Mrs. Schweighardt had been a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton.
She was predeceased by one brother, Edward Soos and two sisters, Helen Ostrowski and Marie Avitable.
Survivors include: her beloved husband, Fred Schweighardt; her daughter, Donna McCloskey and her husband Bill of Matawan; one son, Gary Schweighardt and his wife Kelly of Cedar Knolls; one brother, Anthony Soos of Stuart, FL & Whiting, NJ; and five grandchildren, Michael, Lisa, Lauren, Kevin and Carly.
Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services begin at 11:30 am from the funeral home followed by a
12 noon Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey, 3 Eves Drive, Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053.
