Marianne DeLisi

Marianne DeLisi, 80, of Toms River, passed away on April 9, 2011. Born and raised in Astoria, New York, Miss DeLisi lived there for most of her life before moving to Toms River in 1993. Prior to retiring in 1986, she had been an elementary School Teacher with the Nanuet, NY Public Schools for 34 years.
Miss DeLisi had been a parishioner of St. Luke R.C. Church in Toms River where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. Miss DeLisi was a former parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Astoria.
She was predeceased by her dear sister and brother-in-law, Ninfa and Anthony Guida as well as her brother, Dr. Joseph DeLisi.
Survivors include: her sister-in-law, Diana DeLisi of Mahwah, NJ; ten nieces and nephews and fifteen grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:00 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton and 11:30 am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider a memorial contribution to a charity of your choice or that you simply offer an act of kindness to someone.
