Martha Mazzocco

Martha (nee Hrusovsky) Mazzocco, 87, of Delray Beach, Florida and Toms River, formerly of Clifton, passed away on December 27, 2018.
Born in Brownsville, PA, Mrs. Mazzocco was raised in Maxwell, PA and then upon marriage, moved to Merrittstown, PA and then Garfield, NJ. She then lived in Clifton from 1959-1995 before then moving to Toms River and for the past fifteen years divided her time between there and a residence in Delray Beach, FL. Prior to retiring, she had been employed as a Processing Technician with Eastman Kodak in Fair Lawn for many years. Mrs. Mazzocco was a superb chef and had a natural gift for interior decorating and design. She volunteered to assist in organizing senior trips at the Lake Ridge retirement community in Toms River and loved to travel, enjoying trips to Eastern Europe, her homeland of Slovakia, Italy, Hong Kong, England and the Caribbean and especially her time spent at her timeshare in Aruba. She enjoyed spending her afternoons watching the ocean and loved attending Broadway musicals. She was a parishioner of St. Luke RC Church in Toms River, St. Lucy RC Church in Highland Beach, FL and was a former parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton.
Mrs. Mazzocco was predeceased by her beloved husband, William M. Mazzocco, who passed away on December 14, 1984; by her dear parents: Paul and Elizabeth (nee Toth) Hrusovsky; and by a dear sister, Ann Sczerbak.
She is survived by her devoted son, Dr. Dennis Mazzocco and his wife, Dr. Haeryun Choi, of Hempstead, NY; her sister, Margaret Fetsko, of California; and fifteen nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 7-9 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Thursday 9:15 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Entombment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park Mausoleum, Paramus.
