Mary J. DeVenio

DeVenio - Mary J. (nee DeFlumeri), 92, of Clifton, formerly of Lyndhurst, passed away on May 6, 2017.
Born and raised in Lyndhurst, Mrs. DeVenio resided there for most of her life before moving to Clifton five years ago. Before her retirement, she was employed as a seamstress for many years in Lyndhurst. She had been a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel R.C. Church in Lyndhurst.
Mrs. DeVenio was predeceased by her husband, John DeVenio in 1995; her son, Michael DeVenio; one brother, Anthony DeFlumeri; and four sisters, Estella DeMayo, Mildred Dai, Theresa Sammarco and Antoinette Benevento.
Survivors include: four children, Maryann Maurice and her husband Michael of North Arlington, Carl DeVenio and his wife Michelle of Stanhope, John A. DeVenio of Clifton and Salvatore DeVenio and his wife Bridgit of Little Falls; one sister, Annamarie Felekey of Lodi; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be held Monday from 4 to 8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by a committal at East Ridgelawn Cemetery.
