Mary A. Heinkel

Mary A. (nee Adcock) Heinkel, 95, of Cedar Grove, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Heinkel moved to Cedar Grove in 1952 where she resided since. She had been employed as a secretary with Benjamin and Johnes in Newark for 12 years. Mrs. Heinkel was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Verona for 50 years. She also was a 50 year member of the Cedar Grove Women's Club (EMBERS).
Mrs. Heinkel was predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Robert E. Heinkel in 1995; and her daughter, May H. Giancola in 2016.
Survivors include: two sons, Leonard D. Heinkel and his wife Barbara of Caldwell, NJ and Calvin Heinkel of Bangor, ME; her son-in-law, Paul Giancola of Kinnelon, NJ; four loving grandchildren, Paula Giancola-Kuechler, Lora Penola, Daniel Heinkel and James Heinkel; and seven loving great-grandchildren, Isabella, Paul, Elizabeth, John, Adam, Jacob and Easton.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at Bizub-Parker Funeral home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by the interment at Fairmount Cemetery in Newark. Memorial contributions to the First Presbyterian Church of Verona, 10 Fairview Ave., Verona, NJ 07044, would be appreciated.
