Mary Shashaty

Mary Shashaty, 88, of Woodland Park passed away peacefully on September 12, 2018.
Born and raised in Paterson, Ms. Shashaty had lived in Woodland Park since 1995. Prior to retiring, she had been employed as a bookkeeper for various companies in the area, primarily with Shashaty & Lalomia, Esqs., formerly in Paterson. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton.
Ms. Shashaty was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Shashaty.
She is survived by her four cherished sisters: Antoinette Cortese, Grace Hammond, Gloria Stevenson and Bernadette Hourihan and her husband, Joseph. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be Sunday from 2-6 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be Monday 9:15 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Eva's Kitchen (www.evasvillage.org), 393 Main Street, Paterson, NJ 07501 would be preferred and appreciated.
