Mary Stewart

Mary (nee Zalewski) Stewart, age 90, formerly a long-time resident of Little Falls, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Southern Ocean Community Hospital on May 24, 2017.
Mary was born on August 5, 1926 in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. Mary was the youngest of six children; Benjamin, Charles, Anthony, Stanley, and Nelly. Mary was extremely proud of her brothers who served our country in World War II, two of which lost their lives while serving.
Mary married the love of her life, Warren Hastings Stewart on May 5, 1951. As a couple they settled in Little Falls, New Jersey and raised their five children; Warren, Marilyn, Elaine, John, and Glenn.
Over the years, Mary enjoyed many leisure activities including traveling, bowling, gardening, and most of all spending time with her beloved family. Mary was a member of the Little Falls Jolly Seniors and Little Falls Golden Agers where she had many friends and attended many social events. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Mary was the wife of the late Warren H. Stewart, devoted mother of Warren Anthony and wife Diane, Marilyn Talbot and husband Daniel, Elaine Vander Meulen and husband Richard, John Stewart, and Glenn Stewart and wife Lisa. Loving grandmother (Babci) and great grandmother of Amber, Scott, Christy, Victoria, Reed, Steven, Shaye, Dana, Daniel, Ayden, Bennett, Alexander, Greyson, and Griffen.
Family and Friends will gather at the Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls, NJ. Visitation will be on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 4-8PM. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 9:30AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
