Mary K. Wancho

Mary K. (nee Heinrich) Wancho, 92, of Garfield, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018. Born in Seanor, PA, Mrs. Wancho resided in Passaic for many years before moving to Garfield in 1974. She was a faithful parishioner of St. John R.O. Church in Passaic and a former member of the Garfield Senior Citizens.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Mathew Pomykala in 1971 and her second husband, Edward Wancho in 2012; one son, Mathew Pomykala in 2003; one granddaughter; and ten brothers and sisters.
Survivors include: one son, Paul Pomykala of Clifton; two daughters, Teddie Cavallo of Las Vegas, NV and Debi Mangan of East Windsor, NJ; one sister, Grace Perin of Ohio; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be held Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Parastas held at 4 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Service at St. John R.O. Church, 170 Lexington Ave., Passaic. Interment to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
