Michael S. Marty

Michael Marty, of Wallington, NJ passed peacefully at home on August 3rd, 2018, surrounded by his family and friends. Beloved son of the late Daniel and Regina (Supensky) Marty; loving husband of Irene Marty (Zimmermann); loving father of Mickey and Ashley Marty (Bill Reading); devoted uncle of Brian (Liz) Steinhauer, Todd Steinhauer, Amy Colletti and Alison Sandor. Much loved brother of Daniel (Sandra) Marty, Colleen Marty, and dear brother-in-law of Ro Sandor. Cherished dog dad and best friend to Dixie. Dear friend and cousin.
Michael started his career at Thomas Electronics, then with Barnes & Noble, Farmland Dairies, Jack Higgins and after retirement, part time with A&J Catering. He loved long chats with his family, spending as much time as possible on the water, pool challenges with Mickey, and going on long drives with his wife.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, August 8that Most Sacred Heart Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington, NJ. Please meet at church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington. Visitation on Tuesday, August 7th from 4-8 p.m at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.
