Michael J. Minutella

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael J. Minutella, 66, of Clifton. Mike passed away at the hospital Tuesday, December 26, 2017 after battling cancer.
Born and raised in Passaic, Mike resided in Clifton for the past 40 years. He was a proud employee of Crestron Electronics, Inc. of Rockleigh, NJ where he worked as an engineering manager for 20 years. Mike was also the former proprietor of M & M Techtronics on Lakeview Avenue in Clifton.
Music was a big part of his life and he played guitar, keyboard, and sang both professionally and for the joy of his family who will never forget his "Neil Diamond" voice. He was also an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding with friends and attending car shows. His greatest joys in life though were being a grandpa ("PopPop") to his treasured grandchildren and spending time with his family.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, O. Nathan and Vilma (nee Holub) Minutella.
He will forever be loved and remembered by his devoted wife, Susan (nee Mavus); three children, Michael J. Minutella, II and his wife Ayoe, Jennifer M. Fleming and her husband Jeff and Kayleigh A. Ramirez and her husband Derek; six grandchildren, Jack, Olivia, Joselyn, Benjamin, Ella and Ava; two brothers, Salvatore and his wife Adrianna and Joseph and his wife Sandra as well as his nephews and other extended family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held Friday from 5 to 9 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:15 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Brendan R.C. Church, cor, Lakeview and Crooks Aves., Clifton. Committal service to follow at Cedar Lawn Crematory Chapel in Paterson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
