Michael P. Rogers

Michael P. Rogers, 68, of Lodi passed away suddenly on January 19, 2018. Loving and always caring husband of Geraldine (nee Domonkos). Very proud father of Michael D. (Victoria) Rogers and Kathryn M. (Sean) Morrison, both of Garfield. Loving "Grandpa" to Amelia Grace and Jackson Douglas Rogers and Sean Michael and Liam Stephen Morrison. "Grandpa" drove them to school and picked them up on a weekly schedule. "We love you, Grandpa!" "I love you, too!" Michael is also survived by his mother, Geraldine P. Rogers and his brother, Dennis (Janice) Rogers, all of Stockholm, NJ. He was predeceased by his father, Frank Rogers and a brother, Johnny. Michael was a Veteran of the United States Army serving stateside during the Vietnam War. Prior to retiring, he had been employed for thirty years as a Truck Driver with Farmland Dairy, formerly in Wallington.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 92 Burton Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be preferred and appreciated.
