Michael J. Sferruzzo

Michael J. Sferruzzo, 69, of Garfield died Wednesday at St. Mary's General Hospital, Passaic.
Born in Passaic, New Jersey, he was a lifelong resident of Garfield. Mr. Sferruzzo retired as Water Department Superintendent for the City of Garfield. He enjoyed fishing and his annual vacations to Wildwood Crest, NJ and was also a mathematics wiz.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Julia (nee Sabo) Sferruzzo and by his brother. Frank P. Sferruzzo, Jr.
Survivors include his sister, Joyce Trusewich of Garfield; his nieces and nephews: Susan Burns, William H. Trusewich, Jr., Jennifer Hopwood, Frank P. Sferruzzo, III and Michelle Sferruzzo and their families.
Funeral Services will be 8:45 am Saturday from Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Avenue, Clifton and 9:30 am at Most Holy Name RC Church, 99 Marsellus Pl., Garfield. Visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Visit www.bizub.com for driving directions/ online condolences.
