Patrick H. Convery

Patrick Hugh Convery, of Little Falls, NJ passed away on July 15, 2018. He was 90 years old. He was born in White Plains, NY on May 24, 1928 and moved to Yorktown Heights as a youth. In 1947 Pat relocated to Wayne, NJ.
Pat entered the U.S. Navy in 1948 serving primarily in Pawtuxet River, MD. He was honorably discharged in 1952.
Pat married the former Constance Donato of Little Falls in 1952 and resided there until his passing. He had three children, Dr. Patrick G. Convery of Concord, Ohio, Michael F. Convery of Morristown, NJ and Thomas Convery deceased in 1997. His beloved wife Connie predeceased Pat in 1994. In 1996 Pat married the former Catherine (nee Sacco) Hughes of Little Falls.
Pat is survived by his wife, Catherine; his sons, Dr. Patrick G. and his wife, Marinela along with their four children; Michael F. and his wife, Nancy along with their two children; step-son David Hughes; and three great-grandchildren. His sister Catherine Heston and brother John Convery predeceased him.
Pat was a long time dedicated employee of Hoffman-La Roche, Nutley, NJ retiring in 1988 after 33 years of service. He was a parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Singac section of Little Falls. He was active in the Golden Agers of Little Falls and Our Lady of the Highway Council 3835 Knights of Columbus. Pat enjoyed winters in Boca Raton, Florida during his later years playing golf and being active in the community. Pat enjoyed attending NY Yankees games as well as the Giants.
