Paul Stephen Doviak

Paul Stephen Doviak, 68, of Clifton, passed away at home on May 18, 2018. Born in Passaic, Paul resided in Garfield, Blairstown and then Clifton since 1999. He was employed at Vornado, Inc. of Garfield, Barbara Moss Co. of Secaucus, Abe Shrader Co. of Secaucus, Lauren Financial of Totowa and then St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton.
Paul was a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #11671; a member of the Legion of Mary; a member of the Prime Timers; served as a Eucharistic Minister; and was instrumental in the creation of the Columbiettes. Paul was also active with the Msgr. Stein Assembly of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree in Paterson and the Clifton Republican Club.
He was predeceased by his parents, John Frank Doviak and Bertha A. (nee Sokolowska) Doviak; and his beloved aunt, Stella Bulna in 2016.
Survivors include: his brother, Thomas Doviak and his wife Annye of Kansas; two nieces, Jacqueline Nicole and Raymounda Jo; three nephews, Jimmie Eldon, Erech Jon and Jorydan Wesley; five great-nieces and two great-nephews.
A Mass will be held Thursday 10:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton, NJ 07013.
