Paul Scherba

Paul Scherba, 96, of Clifton passed away peacefully on July 8, 2018 with his family by his side.
Born and raised in Passaic, Mr. Scherba had lived in Clifton for the past sixty-three years. Prior to retiring in 1987, he had been employed as a Millwright with Okonite in Paterson. He was a faithful and active parishioner of Ss. Peter & Paul RO Cathedral in Passaic where he served as a Trustee and an Usher. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II.
Mr. Scherba was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary (nee Gocz) in 1976 and by his brother, William Scherba.
He is survived by his devoted son: Paul Scherba, Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Chester and their children Justin and Alexander and his partner, Bailey, and their daughter, Slate; cherished daughter Linda Smith and her husband, Joseph, of Wallington and their children Edward and his wife, Dawn, Ashley and Joseph, Jr.
Visiting will be Thursday from 3-7 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Parastas 3:30 pm. Funeral will be Friday 9:15 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at Ss. Peter & Paul RO Cathedral, 200 Third Street, Passaic. Interment to follow at Ss. Peter & Paul RO Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name to the Ss.
