Phyllis F. Gensinger

Phyllis F. Gensinger was a resident of Clifton for many years before moving to Point Pleasant, NJ in 2003. She and her husband, Stephen also enjoyed winters in North Palm Beach, FL.
Phyllis F. Gensinger was graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, and completed graduate study at Montclair State University
Phyllis was a business education teacher and was supervisor of the work/study program at Clifton Senior High School. She was also a business education teacher and Cooperative Office Education Coordinator at Glen Ridge High School. Teaching was her dream job. She was happiest in the classroom working with students.
She was a retired member of the National Education Association and the American Society for Training and Development.
After leaving education, she was a Customer Service representative and conducted new-hire training for Nordstrom, for both Paramus and Menlo Park stores.
Before retiring she was associated with the Prudential Company in disability management.
She was predeceased by her husband, John E. Nemetz, Jr., who died in 1992.
Phyllis loved to travel with her family in the United States. She and her husband, Stephen, enjoyed traveling in their retirement and traveled extensively in Europe visiting 15 countries.
Phyllis enjoyed being with her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Stephen D. Gensinger, son, Christopher John Nemetz and his wife Jennifer, son Mark Adam Nemetz, granddaughter Sarabeth Grace Nemetz, grandson John Lee Nemetz, sister Ellen McCourt, sister-in-law Marcia Cipriano, seven nieces and nephews, step-children Phyllis Miller, David Gensinger, Michael Gensinger, Heidi Gensinger, and Alyse Gensinger, twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07013.
There will be a Mass of the Resurrection at Saint Clare Church, 69 Allwood Road, Clifton, NJ, on Saturday at 9:30 am followed by entombment at Mount Hebron Cemetery, Montclair.
