Phyllis Elida Piroch

Phyllis Elida (nee Lawson) Piroch, 93, of Estero, FL, formerly of Clifton, NJ passed away on November 12, 2018. Born in Clifton, Mrs. Piroch resided in Passaic and Clifton before moving to Florida in the 1980's. Before her retirement, she was employed at Beth Israel Hospital in Passaic for 20 years. Mrs. Piroch was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Clifton.
Mrs. Piroch enjoyed playing Mah Jongg with her friends. She had an artistic side to her in creating beautiful paintings and drawings. The smell of gardenias and the beauty of butterflies always made her smile.
She was predeceased by her husband, John S. Piroch in March of 1973 and her brother, Frederick Lawson.
Survivors include: her two daughters, Janet J. McCann and her husband, Vincent and Carol L. Nargi and "Mac"; three grandchildren, Elida and her husband, J.T., Gerald and Alexis; and two great-grandchildren, Austin and Mikaela.
Phyllis enjoyed the company of many dogs that she had most of her life and she leaves behind her beloved dog, Lucy.
Visiting will be held Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. The funeral service will be held Friday 10:00 am at First Lutheran Evangelical Church, 1337 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, NJ 07013. Please meet at church. Interment to follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
