Robert L. Mattis

Robert L. Mattis, 90, of Pine Brook, passed away on April 25, 2018. Born in Garfield he grew up in Bergen County after getting married he moved to Montville. Mr. Mattis was an engineer at Barto Packaging, Passaic for many years before retiring.
He was predeceased by his wife, Judith (nee Belfi); his parents, Stephen and Josephine (nee Pashinski) Mattis; and his sister, Ruth Mattis.
He is survived by his son, Robert S. Mattis of Clifton; his daughter, Lizette Williams and her husband, Daniel of Clifton; two grandchildren, Dylan Mattis and Corinne Mattis; a brother, Edward of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral service 9:30 am Saturday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
