Rodney N. Diwa

RODNEY N. DIWA, 58, of Paterson died Monday at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Paterson.
Born in Manilla, Philippines, Mr. Diwa came to the United States in 1989 and resided in Clifton and Paterson. He was employed in the Food Service Department of St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Paterson. Mr. Diwa was a former member of the Philippines Merchant Marines. He loved all things Michael Jordan and his sneaker collection and enjoyed music immensely.
He is survived by his common law wife, Erlinda Tuwanda; his two daughters, Zoullei Ann Diwa and Megan Nicole Diwa, both of Passaic; his parents, Rodolfo and Filipina Diwa of the Philippines; his step daughter, Kristine Nativo of Brooklyn, NY and his brothers and sisters in The Philippines.
There will be a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 6-7 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton followed by a memorial service at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
