Ronald William Swede

Ronald William Swede, 62, of Clifton, passed away on June 29, 2017. Ronald resided in Clifton for all of his life. Before retiring, he was a self-employed Computer Programming Consultant. He was a faithful parishioner of Ss. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church in Clifton and was a member of the Regina Mundi Knights of Columbus in Clifton. Ronald was also a member of the Passaic County Historical Society and a benefactor of the Lambert Castle Museum. As an avid gardener, Ron was known for his tomato plants.
He was predeceased by his parents, Chester and Emma Swede; his sister, Carol Chaplin; his brother, Robert Swede; and his nephew, Matthew Chaplin.
Survivors include: his beloved wife, Claire (nee Martineau); his children, Danielle Swede, Nicholas Swede and Rachelle Swede; his loving granddaughter, Emma Swede-Hernandez; his nieces, Christine Chaplin and Michelle Cevoli; and his aunt, Barbara Daniels.
Visiting will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:15 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, 218 Ackerman Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Outwater Lane, Saddle Brook.
