Ruth V. DeHaan

Ruth V. (nee Mateer) DeHaan, 90, of Totowa passed away peacefully Saturday, July 15, 2017.
Born in Wayne she resided in Totowa since 1947. Mrs. DeHaan worked as a ticket marker at Retail Marketing, Edison, NJ and was also a food demonstration person for Pathmark, Woodland Park for many years before retiring in 1995. She also was a former member of Grace Fellowship Church, Midland Park.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick DeHaan, Sr. (2003); her son, Frederick DeHaan, Jr. (2014); her brother, Edward Mateer; and her parents, Edward and Ella Wanda (nee Bucowski) Mateer.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Mills and her husband, Brian of Hawthorne; her twin sister, Ella Mae Cutillo of Kinzers, PA; and her sister-in-law, Marion Mateer of Pleasant Mount, PA.
Visiting hours are 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Little Falls, NJ. Funeral services are 10:30 am Thursday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
