Salvatore Lipari

Salvatore Lipari, 85, of Montclair, formerly of Passaic Park, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018. Born in Passaic, Mr. Lipari resided in the Passaic Park section of Passaic for most of his life before moving to Montclair in 2010. Before his retirement, Mr. Lipari was employed with the Passaic Board of Education. Having served honorably during the Korean War, he was a proud veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Lipari was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Eleanor (nee Cirignano) Lipari in 2009; one sister, Johanna "Jenny" Lipari in 2012; and three brothers, Angelo, Anthony and Joseph Lipari.
Survivors include: three children, Linda A. DiMarco (Frank DiMarco) of Boca Raton, FL, Patricia A. Lipari (Robert Pettigrew) of Montclair and Marc A. Lipari of Montclair; two grandchildren, Gianni Adduci and Ella Grace Pettigrew; one sister, Catherine Welling of Montvale and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Monday 9:15 am - 10:15 am at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral service 10:15 am from funeral home then a Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am at St. Clare R.C. Church, 31 Allwood Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi.
