Sarah Satten

Satten- Sarah (nee Corona), 94, of Clifton, passed away on Sept. 18, 2012. Born in Passaic, Mrs. Satten resided in the Passaic-Clifton area her entire life. She and her late sister, Rose Giaconia, had been the owners of Coronet Fashions in Passaic for many years, retiring in the 1980's. Mrs. Satten was a parishioner of St. Clare R.C. Church in Clifton.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Satten in 1997; her loving grandson, Sean Cassidy; three sisters, Rose Giaconia, Sally Coco and Margaret Sargent and two brothers, Rocco and Thomas Corona.
Survivors include: her devoted children, Barbara Cassidy and Thomas Satten, both of Clifton; two dear sisters, Lena Robertello of Clifton and Grace Grattagliano of Whiting; and her loving grandson, Terrence Cassidy and his wife, Aileen.
Funeral services will be Friday 9:15 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 10:00 am at St. Clare R.C. Church, 31 Allwood Rd., Clifton. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
