Saverio "Sam" Caradonna, 87, of Clifton passed away peacefully on February 14, 2018.
Born and raised in Molfetta, Italy, Mr. Caradonna had lived in Clifton since 1974. Prior to retiring, he and his brothers were the owners of Hoboken Tank Lines in Hoboken. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton.
Mr. Caradonna was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rosemarie (nee LaCandia) in 2006 and a brother, Giovanni Caradonna.
He is survived by his two devoted children: Anthony Caradonna and his wife, Debbie, of Hawthorne and Gianna Caradonna of Clifton; dear brother Nicola Caradonna of Clifton; and three cherished grandchildren: Alyssa, Anthony and Andrew Caradonna. He is also survived by his many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Visiting Friday from 5-9 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services Saturday 9:15 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
