Sonia C. Moran

SONIA C. (nee Vergara) MORAN, 70, of Fair Lawn died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017.
Born in Santiago, Chile, Mrs. Moran came to the United States on March 29, 1980, settling first in Elmwood Park before moving to Fair Lawn in 1989. She loved cooking and was especially known for her empanadas. Mrs. Moran was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church in Paterson.
Mrs. Moran is predeceased by her brother, Luis Vergara and her sister, Lillian Arce.
She is survived be her husband of almost 50 years, Orlando Moran; by her three children, Albert Moran and his wife, Susana of Paterson, Christian Moran and his wife, Victoria of Wanaque, NJ and Stephanie Moran of Fair Lawn; her brother, Julio Vergara and sister, Gloria Villaroel, both of Chile and her nine grandchildren, Christian, Gabriel, Jordan, Isabella, Payton, Jayden, Jack, Jianni and Abigail.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 5-9 pm with a Funeral Service at 8:30 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Ave., Clifton. Private Cremation to follow.
