Stanley J. Maciula

Stanley J. Maciula, 99, of Clifton passed away peacefully on January 5, 2018.
Born and raised in Passaic, Mr. Maciula moved to Clifton upon marriage and lived there until moving to Las Vegas in 1999 and then returned to New Jersey in 2015. Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a Traffic Manager with the Federal Sweets and Biscuit Co., formerly in Clifton and then with Casio Electronics in Dover, also as a Traffic Manager. Mr. Maciula was a proud Veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church in Clifton when he lived in Clifton, served on the Interstate Commerce Commission, was a member and Past-President of both the Delta Nu Alpha Traffic Club and the North Jersey Traffic Club, a member of Knights of Columbus Regina Mundi Council # 3969, the Military Officers Association of America, the Audubon Society, the Camera Club and he enjoyed bird watching.
Mr. Maciula was predeceased by his beloved wife, Stasia (nee Michniewicz) in 1999; by two daughters: Mary Ann Maciula in 1989 and Kathleen Maciula in 2014; and two sisters: Francis Koziol and Jean Zschack.
He is survived by his devoted daughter, Diane Dobkin, of Clifton; three grandchildren: Brian O'Mahoney and his wife, Holly, Kenneth Dobkin and his wife, Kristen and Eric Dobkin and his wife, Erin; and eight great-grandchildren: Chloe and Brandon O'Mahoney and Emma, Drew, Connor, Kellen, Madeline and Abraham Dobkin.
Visiting will be Monday 4-8 pm at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 10:30 am at the funeral home and 11:00 am at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, 400 Mt. Prospect Avenue, Clifton. Private cremation to follow with burial of ashes at a future date at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be preferred and appreciated.
