Stojanka Jovanovich

Stojanka (nee Jovanovic) Jovanovich, 78, of Clifton on October 21, 2009 after a long illness.
Beloved wife of fifty-six years of Tomislav Jovanovich. Dearest and adored mother of Anica (Ann) Radovanovich and her husband, Miladin, of Wayne and Bozidar (Bob) Jovanovich and his wife, Radmila, of Warren. Devoted and proud grandmother of Steven, John and Emilia Radovanovich and Danica and Kalla Jovanovich. Grandmother-in-heart to Jelena Petrovic. Also survived by her older sister Milica Vlaskovic, her twin sister Milanka Zivanovic and their families, special niece Marica Milisavljevic, many relatives and friends all in Serbia. Mrs. Jovanovich was predeceased by her parents, Predrag and Poleksija Jovanovic.
Born on June 27, 1931 in the village of Velika Krusevica, near Kragujevac, Serbia, the former Yugoslavia, Mrs. Jovanovich came to the United States in 1970, settling in Clifton and residing there since. She was a homemaker. She lived her life as a sweet, generous and gentle soul, devoted to her husband, family and garden. She will remain in our hearts forever.
Funeral services (Parastos) will be 10:00 am Saturday at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Visiting Friday from 6-9 pm only.
