Ted was born in New Brunswick, NJ in 1957.
After attending St. Joseph High School, he attended Florida Institute of Technology and Brevard Community College in Florida. He resided there for many years, working in the computer programming industry. He also lived in Connecticut and Chicago before settling
in Minneapolis, MN where he died prematurely at the age of 60 on February 22, 2018. He was employed by Wells Fargo Bank as a Senior Systems Administrator in the IT department.

Teddy had a passion for many things in life including: traveling, cooking, dining at restaurants, NASA, Star Trek, and trains. He visited the Philippines this past fall and desired visiting Asia again. Since he was young, he loved to learn about the newest technology and build aircraft models. Several years ago, while in Minneapolis, Teddy became an avid train model collector and an exceptional railroad-layout builder. He built models piece by piece, incorporated hand-painted props, and coded trains and lights so that his display was perfect. Teddy was in the process of completing a large complex masterpiece, which replicated a modern, bi-level city. Teddy was a member of the Greater River Valley System Railroad club and attended many train shows.

Ted was the son of the late Stanley and Stephanie (Basarewska) Rusin. He is survived by sister, Lydia Wasik of Little Falls, NJ and her husband, Peter, and their daughter, Stephanie.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church, 473 Main Street, Little Falls NJ.
