William B. Fengya, 94, of Bogota, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Born and raised in Clifton, Bill lived there for many years. He has been living in Bogota for the last 18 years. Before his retirement in December of 1992, Bill was employed with Ford Motor Company Parts Division in Teterboro for many years. Previous employment was with Colonial Life Insurance Co. and DeLuxe Cleaners in Clifton.
Bill served his country honorably in the United States Army during World War II. He was a former member of the American Legion Post #347 of Clifton. He was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church in Clifton and a member of the United Auto Workers Union.
Survivors include: two daughters, Maureen DiChiara of Hasbrouck Heights and Barbara Ann Beyroutey and her husband Michael of Parsippany; one son, William Robert Fengya of Carlstadt; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his son-in-law, Jack Harris; and one sister, Patricia Starr of Florida; and one brother, Henry Fengya and his wife Monica of Wayne; and his two longtime, loving caregivers, Bonnie and Carol.
Bill was predeceased by his former wife, Florence Harchar in 1991; his daughter, Judith Ann Harris in 2007; two brothers, John and Edward Fengya; and five sisters, Mary Fengya, Elizabeth Douglas, Margaret Rupp, Helen Fengya and Audrey Bergeron.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 6 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held Monday 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10 am Mass at St. Paul R.C. Church, 124 Union Ave., Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in support of Villa Marie Claire Hospice to Holy Name Medical Center Foundation, 718 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
