William E. Potter

William E. Potter, 82, of Clifton passed away peacefully on December 20, 2017.
Born in Newark, Mr. Potter resided in Clifton for most of his life. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a millwright with Singer-Kearfott in Little Falls for twenty-five years. Mr. Potter will be remembered for his outstanding mechanical abilities and his willingness to help anyone in need.
He was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton and was a member of the St. Philip the Apostle Knights of Columbus Council #11671.
Mr. Potter was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan A. (nee Moss) Potter on September 16, 2010 and by his brother, John Potter.
He is survived by his devoted son, William J. Potter and his wife, Katherine, of Wayne, NJ and Naples, FL; his companion, Monica Lukowiak of Little Falls; his sister, Dorothy Meurer of Englewood, FL; two grandchildren: Jennifer Potter and her fiancé, Jeffrey Smith and Denise Potter; and by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Wednesday beginning 9:30 am at the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org), 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 would be preferred and appreciated.
