William Harry Weir

WILLIAM HARRY WEIR, SR., 87, of Toms River, formerly of Woodland Park, died Saturday, August 4, 2018.
Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Mr., Weir lived most of his life in West Paterson. He retired from Paterson Machine Co. of Totowa where he was employed for over 40 years. Mr. Weir was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War.
He loved his annual camping trip to Myrtle Beach, SC and enjoyed woodworking, especially building bird houses.
Mr. Weir was predeceased by his wife, the former Barbara Smith, on September 18, 2012 and by his brother, Harry Weir.
Survivors include: his two daughters, Nancy Devecka and her husband, Robert and Phyllis Dedoussis and her husband, Gary, both of Toms River; his son, William H. Weir, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Lake Hopatcong; his nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Friday at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Visitation on Thursday from 4-8 pm.
